Robot cell
I programmed the PLC and a Denso robot for a complete robot cell. This covered signal exchange between the PLC and the robot, a cooling buffer, sorting of parts, and fault handling for when something goes wrong.

Hi, I'm Aron. I come from the Faroe Islands, live in Vanløse, Copenhagen, and I love technology. Right now I'm studying to become an automation technologist at EK.
I love tinkering and trying out new things. I stay calm under pressure and keep going when times get tough.
What my jobs taught me
I love working in a team. I speak up when I think something could be done better, and I know that nobody is perfect, me included, so I'm just as glad to get feedback myself.
My studies are going really well, and I enjoy every moment of them. I try to broaden my horizons wherever I can to keep getting better. I like helping my fellow students with whatever they're stuck on, and I enjoy being part of a good atmosphere.

Laid out like the I/O modules in a PLC rack. Each channel is something I've used in real projects.

A selection of what I've built at school, at work and in my spare time.
I programmed the PLC and a Denso robot for a complete robot cell. This covered signal exchange between the PLC and the robot, a cooling buffer, sorting of parts, and fault handling for when something goes wrong.
I developed the PLC program and the operator HMI in Siemens TIA Portal. It includes step sequences, alarm handling and machine safety, so the machine stops safely and tells the operator why.
A Raspberry Pi Pico robot that can be driven remotely from a web page. It runs MicroPython on the controller and uses MQTT for real-time messages between the browser and the robot.
While I worked part-time with online sales and website maintenance, I built an automated solution for part of the shop's daily workflow. The company still uses it today.
I wrote this site by hand in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, without frameworks, and host it myself with nginx on my own Raspberry Pi. It also includes four browser games I built from scratch.

Four games I built from scratch in plain JavaScript. Each one shows off an engineering idea, from scan cycles to cellular automata to adaptive AI. They work best on a computer.
Start here
Ladder logic · scan cycle
Write real ladder logic to control a simulated plant: motor latches, interlocks, timers, a tank and a conveyor. Automated tests check your solution.
Play →
Cellular automata · physics
A pixel physics sandbox with sand, water, oil, fire, lava, acid, plants and more. All the materials react with each other at 60 fps.
Play →
Tower defense · adaptive AI
A tower defense game where you build a maze to protect the control room. An AI director studies your strategy and designs each new wave to counter it, and it explains its reasoning as it goes.

Live demo
Logistics · throughput
Mine ore, smelt plates and build production lines with belts and assemblers, then balance throughput to reach each milestone. It's a tiny Factorio. Short on time? Load the demo factory and watch it run.

2025 – now
Automation Technologist (Automationsteknolog)
PLC programming, HMI, robot integration, process control and project management.
2025 – 2026
Electrician's helper (summer job)
I assisted an electrician with hands-on electrical work, including pulling cables and mounting equipment.
2022 – 2024
Programmer apprentice
I developed and optimised C# code in a Scrum team and worked with APIs and SQL databases.
2020 – 2025
Website maintenance & online sales (part-time)
I handled online sales, customer service, website maintenance and preparing goods. I also built an automated solution that the company still uses.
2021 & 2025
Upper-secondary education with in-depth subjects and independent work.
2017 – 2021
Production operator
I worked as an operator in salmon production. This is where I first saw industrial automation up close, from the operator's side.
